It would bre eally nice if the ticker (and static text tool) could load a file (single line of text) from a local server (not web-facing) and display it. I know it can be done with RSS, but not without external access to that resource. (Yodeck's servers load the RSS, not the player) Also, the text would need to be converted into an RSS feed before being served by the public-facing machine... Example Our building management system has the ability to display a user-defined status line on our package displays (they just do a PHP include to insert that text). We're using it now to show that the office is closed for Thanksgiving. To show this on the Yodeck player, we had to put it into the ticker manually. Would be nice to automate that.
