Now the only way to switchoff an item from the playlist is by removing it form the list.

So if you made a customization right in the Playlist for that media item, you loose it.

Would be really useful that each playlist item has a Published checkbox that you can temporarily uncheck to not show it on screen, but having it ready for when is needed back or when you have publication authorization or whatever circumstance,
