if you look at https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/2544838?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
it says:
"Add trusted computers and devices:
Sign in on a computer or device you trust.
When you enter a verification code, select Don't ask again on this computer."
Amazon does a similar thing: they call it an OTP Suppression cookie.
to enable this we would access to the browser in non-player mode with mouse/keyboard support to log in to the device and set5 the cookie.
Once set the player could then support scripted login using username/password on an account that retains 2FA for all other devices.
I've asked for this in the post "Support Amazon OTP Suppression Cookie" posted today.
