Add way for folder to be accessible by all workspaces.

Right now, I can create a folder, but have to select a workspace to save it to. I would like this to be accessible to all workspaces, without having to create the same folder under each workspace. Is there a way to do this already? It would not be such a pain if there was a copy and paste function but I don't believe there is.
