Counter UP/down widget feature

Hello, Would like to have the ability to choose what information I want to see on the counter up/down Widget. For example, I would now only like to have the days added without having to display the hours and minutes. Wouldn't it be easy if the user could choose via a checkbox what he wants to be displayed during the countdown/countup ?
