In the availability screen make an option of "Not available at all". Reason i say this I run a bistro and have permanent menus up for specific days with specific menus. Sometimes during the evening we run out of these items and there is no way of preventing this from showing without deleting the file from the playlist for the evening. As such once the evening is finished I can revert back to the previous availabilty really quickly
