Layout as Overlay on Playlist

It would be great to have the ability to place a layout as an 'always on overlay', over the top of a playlist. For example, I may have a playlist that cycles through: 1. Social Media Posts 2. News/Information 3. Company Data And persisting over the top of this playlist, is a layout that displays date/time/weather (etc).
